My Cup
I didn't search for riches, nor dream of them just now,
Contentment always led me, to be happy anyhow…
I've gone along life's journey, reaping more than I have sowed
And I'm drinking from my saucer, cause my cup has over flowed…
Yet I have a lot riches, when the going seems so tough,
I have some kids who love me, that make me rich enough…
Just thanking God for blessings, and the mercies he's bestowed,
Finds me drinking from my saucer, Cause my cup has overflowed…
Remembering times when all went wrong, recalling faith so thin,
As I watched the dark clouds rolling by, the sun came back again…
So I asked the Lord to forgive my gripe, ‘bout the tough rows I had hoed
Then thanked him for the saucer, cause my cup has overflowed…
He gives me strength and courage, as the way grows steep and rough,
Should I ask for extra blessings, when I know I've had enough ?
May I never be too busy, to help others with their load,
And offer them my cup, cause mine has overflowed…

Our Study in Colossians
We opened up His Word,
His commandments to obey.
The study in Colossians 2:7 points the way.
It tells us to be steadfast, to be grounded so secure,
In love that speaks of sacrifice, in unity so sure.
He gave us all the message that tells about One Way,
Showed us a life eternal, a Truth we must obey.
He brought us close together, our lives are not the same,
In Christ we're bound together, for now there is no stain.
His message is so clear, just listen to this word,
“Abide in Me and I in you, for eternity secured.
If anyone can hear my voice and opens up the door,
I will come in unto him and fellowship evermore.”
So come to Him who labor, who carry the load of sin,
He promises a new life to all who ask Him in.
For everyone who believeth and trust His holy name,
Will have a life eternal, washed clean from every stain.
All this He has written on the tablets of our hearts,
Gave us a love for sharing, in a world that's torn apart.
This love says, “God has spoken” in these last days by a Son.
He came into a world of sin to die for everyone.

The Full Armor of God
The full armor of God, are you wearing yours today?
To protect against the evil one and his darts along your way.
Some days I forget mine, then he sees me as I go;
He's always prowling 'bout me to strike a heavy blow.
But Jesus always rescues me, He picks me up each time;
Reminds me of the armor that I had left behind.
It isn't hard to wear, takes a minute to adorn,
But the devil cannot touch you, he can see you've been reborn.
So gird your loins with truth, take the breastplate of righteousness,
Shod your feet with the Gospel to go about and bless.
You have the shield of faith, be sure it goes along.
With the helmet of salvation, He has made you very strong.
With the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God,
The equipment of the Gospel, your feet have now been shod.
Your shield will keep you company, for that is our dear Lord,
Don't go anywhere without Him, He's your helmet and your sword.

His Grace and His Sufficiency
I know there is a Savior who watches over all;
He is so dependable, He's near when 'ere we call.
His children learn to follow by the promise in His name.
Trusting in the Bible, His Word He will not stain.
His Word maintains a record for the oath by which He stands,
It shows us how He bound Himself with the power in His hands.
A power, oh so merciful, to display His awesome love,
Grounded by an oath secure in His promise from above.
There is a hope for all to claim; it is written in His Word,
Embodied by the truth where His oath finds us secured.
He called this oath unchangeable because He cannot lie.
In the promise of His Word, where believers never die.
